German sports TV production company Plazamedia will continue to produce UEFA Champions League games for German public broadcaster ZDF.
The Mainz-based broadcaster commissioned the subsidiary of media company Constantin Medien with production services for the Wednesday games both in Germany and abroad for another two years.
Plazamedia already acted as the Champions League producer for ZDF in the 2012/13 season. The games are produced in high definition (HD) with Dolby 5.1 surround sound.
Kick-off will be on 21 August 2013 with the match between FC Schalke 04 and Paok Saloniki.
