German music portal Make Music TV has secured an extensive rights package for its subscription video-on-demand (VOD) service.
The package bought in the UK contains concerts, appearances and documentaries ranging from Coldplay and Robbie Williams to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Many of the productions have been recorded directly for the BBC and have so far not aired on German television. With the London Live series acquired as well, Make Music TV will show UK concerts from music stars such as Lady Gaga and Kanye West.
