French indie company Coyote has joined with reporter and producer Diego Buñuel to set up a subsidiary called Atawad, which will specialise in factual programming.
The new venture, co-headed by Diego Buñuel and Fabrice Bonanno, will produce documentaries, current affairs programming and magazine-style shows, and intends to develop in the international market.
Buñuel, formerly at Capa TV, regularly works for Canal+’s weekly doc slot Les Nouveaux Explorateurs.
Coyote, founded by TV host Christophe Dechavanne has over the years diversified from entertainment shows into factual programming and drama.
