German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has secured the live transmission rights for the US Open, The Open and PGA Championship golf tournaments for a further three years until 2015.
Alongside the US Masters in Augusta, the three majors are among the highlights of the golf year. Sky also holds the exclusive German broadcast rights of the US PGA Tour (until 2015), the European Tour and the Ryder Cup (both until 2014).
The live coverage is complemented by reports on sports news channel Sky Sport News HD. The channel shows news and highlights from the US PGA Tour and the European Tour as well as the majors with the focus being on participants from Germany and Austria.
