Canal+’s YT multichannel platform boasts 39MN views

French pay-TV group Canal+ has announced that its newly launched multichannel network on YouTube received a total of 39 million video views in December and attracted more than 1.5 million subscribers.
One month after launch, its top comedy channels are channel Palmashow (D8) which attracted 481,000 subscribers in December, and channel Les Tutos (Canal+), produced by leading YouTube original channel StudioBagel. Les Tutos has already passed the million mark in subscribers.
Channel Connasse (Canal+) also made a significant launch with two million video requests in December.
Canal+ Group also said that its Web talent space Canal Factory is to be enriched with two new comedy channels.
