SeaChange International and Deluxe Digital Distribution are teaming up to offer mid-sized television service providers a turnkey, cloud-deployed content and support solution for multiscreen television.
The companies are integrating the SeaChange Cloud Adrenalin pay-as-you-grow OPEX service for delivery, analytics, promotions and system monitoring with the Deluxe OnDemand multiscreen-ready video catalogue.
SeaChange’s joint solutions allow customers to incrementally add service layers (content, ratings, recommendations, subscriber interface by platform, etc); while Deluxe OnDemand brings SeaChange Cloud Adrenalin customers a ready-to-launch video-on-demand (VOD) catalogue of more than 40,000 titles that are pre-encoded in 50+ formats, and pre-packaged and pre-encrypted with leading digital rights management platforms to support popular consumer video devices.
“SeaChange Cloud Adrenalin, in combination with offerings like Deluxe’s, empowers mid-sized and smaller providers to rapidly establish a Tier 1 class of service,” said Sud Kaushik, director of product management at SeaChange. “Deploying from the cloud offsets the costs and complexities of multi-screen applications, and makes way for appropriate service innovation layers that can include premium, SVOD and over-the-top content served to OTT devices and IP set-tops.”
