Munich’s local TV broadcaster münchen.tv will offer its viewers the chance to watch all of its programmes at a time of their choice on their TV screens by pressing a button on the remote control from 16 October 2013.

For this purpose, the commercial broadcaster will launch a catch-up service for households with a connected TV set compliant with interactive multimedia standard HbbTV and hooked up to the Internet. Access is through the red button on the remote control.

The free-of-charge offering will initially only be available for DTH satellite households with cable networks to follow later.
