Music and entertainment portal VEVO has launched in Germany, offering music fans more than 75,000 music videos, concert recordings and music programmes.
VEVO’s line-up comprises international and German artists, newcomers and music veterans. In addition to the PC, VEVO is also available on smartphones, tablets and connected TV sets through free-of-charge apps.
VEVO recently reached an agreement with German music rights association GEMA which opened the door for the roll-out in Germany. The free-of-charge, platform financed through advertisements, is backed by Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music, Abu Dhabi Media and Google.
