Reliance Broadcast Network’s general entertainment TV channel Big Magic is introducing three new shows for the Hindi-speaking market (HSM) in India.

Two fiction programmes, Raavi and Maahi Sagar, will be joined by a comedy called Nadaaniyaan. Each are aimed at male and female audiences aged between 15-35.

“The shows are designed to appeal to the sensibilities of the modern-day audiences across HSM. We developed these concepts based on extensive research and tested them thoroughly. The channel promises to offer a complete entertainment package,” said Sunil Kumaran, business head of language TV, Reliance Broadcast Network.

The broadcaster claims the new programmes showcase ‘the progressive thoughts of emerging India’ and it has designed ‘the fabric and tonality of the shows … accordingly’.

The shows will be marketed through a multimedia campaign, using television and print, out-of-home and digital media.

Big Magic is available on multiple television platforms in India, including direct-to-home (DTH) players Airtel Digital, Videocon d2h, Dish TV, Reliance Digital TV, and DD Direct +, as well as multi-system operators Hathway, Incable, Digicable, DEN, 7 Star, ABS, Siticable, Star Broadband and GTPL.
