German commercial entertainment channel Tele 5 will add movies and TV series from NBC Universal to its programme line-up in May 2013 following an output deal signed with the US studio.
The agreement, the financial details of which have not been disclosed, includes the fantasy series Hercules and Xena as well as the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica.
The movie package comprises comedies including Monty Python - The Meaning of Life, action movies such as The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury and horror films like Dead Silence.
