DStv enhances iOS VOD app

The DStv sub-Saharan satellite TV platform has added new features to its DStv iOS app, allowing Premium customers to download selected videos from DStv Catch Up on both iPhones and iPads.
DStv Catch Up is a video on demand (VOD) service that is exclusively available to DStv Premium customers, giving them access to a catalogue of entertainment and sport using a variety of devices including SD and HDTV PVRs, the DStv Explora, iPhone and iPad and through the DStv website.
Live streaming of major sporting events has also been incorporated into the SuperSport iOS and Android apps. With live streaming from SuperSport, DStv Premium customers now have the ability to stream major sporting events, live, via the Internet on the SuperSport website and now, via the new SuperSport app available on iPhones, iPads and Android devices. An additional feature includes adding downloads as for DStv catch-up on iPads and iPhones.
